Greater Manchester Police applied for and attended an expedited premises licence review hearing yesterday afternoon at Manchester Town Hall. Following the recent Crown Court conviction of the owner of Napoleon's, 35 Bloom Street for serious drug offences, GMP has no confidence that the premises can continue to promote the licensing objectives and asked for the premises licence to be suspended. The Licensing Subcommittee suspended the licence with immediate effect pending a full hearing in October where GMP will be seeking a revocation of this licence. |
